Miscarriage

Oh, my Dear Sister,

My heart aches for you and your losses. What a roller coaster ride you have been on! I wish I could be God's arms and wrap them around you as you are in grief. Though I cannot be there in person, I want to assure you that God is very near, even if He seems far away. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."(Natalie Grant's song "Held" comes to mind. You can click here to listen to it. Let God minister to your heart through it. Another powerful song is "Praise You in this Storm" by Casting Crowns. I'm sorry I couldn't find a link to it.)

Dear Jesus,

I know You are close to this dear one who has lost children even before she could hold them in her arms. You have promised You will never leave or forsake us, so we know You are there. I pray You will make Your presence known in a powerful way to this grieving mother. Wrap Your arms around her through Your Holy Spirit and with the arms of Your children. Please calm her heart and thoughts so she can hear Your voice in this. Enable her to trust You, even when the path is difficult.I ask You to heal her body and her emotions. Be near her husband as he grieves in his own way. Don't allow this to come between them, but use it to draw them closer to You and therefore closer to each other.Lord, I don't know the plans You have for this couple, but You do, and those plans are to give her a future and a hope. Reassure her heart with this promise. Let her know that You have everything under control and are working everything to her good. Enable her to rejoice with her friends who are expecting with no feelings of jealousy or pain.May her greatest desire be to love You with her entire being. Fill her with Yourself.I ask this in the name of Jesus,
Amen.
