Marriage Restoration and Healing

Oh God of Truth, I ask that You send Your Spirit of Truth to this relationship. May Satan's lies be revealed. Heal this broken relationship and show both where they need to forgive and be forgiven. Where love has died, please create new love. Give them both wisdom and courage and guidance. Put Your plan for a good marriage into both of their hearts. Remove anything and anyone that would stand in the way of Your plans. Give peace and mercy.

Engagement Called Off

Lord,
I pray for this fiance who is struggling with many things right now. Enable him to turn all these issues over to You and to rest in the palms of Your hands. Give him financial wisdom and relief. Show him how to balance his time and energy. Place Your healing hand on his sister-in-law. Show him how to say "no" when he should say "no" and "yes" when he should say "yes". Give him clarity of thought.

I don't know Your will regarding this couple's relationship, so I pray like this: If it is Your Divine will that they marry, then let nothing come between them. Put "marriage" in both their hearts, and free them from Satan's lies and doubts. However, if for some reason marriage is not Your plan for them, then I ask You to make it clear to both of them and give each an extra measure of grace and mercy to pick up the pieces and carry on.

May Your will be done in both of these lives whether apart or together.

Shattered Family & Shattered Life

Dear Friend,
Your decision to give your life to God and come back to Him, your realization that you have sinned and fallen short of His glory, Your desire to be the man God wants you to be all mean you're on the right track. Claim 1 John 1:9 that if you confess your sins, God is faithful to forgive them. Also claim His promise that if you hunger and thirst for righteouness you will be filled.

Let me pray for you:
Oh Lord, most powerful and almighty God, with You all things are possible. Today I ask, in agreement with this brother, that You do what many would call impossible: Remake this man in Your image. Make him a new creation. Take the broken and shattered pieces of his life, take his mistakes and failings, and mold them into a beautiful life that pleases You. Show him how to be the husband and father You created him to be. Teach him Your ways. Send him godly friends and role models who will hold him accountable and keep him focused on You. Don't allow Satan to weaken his resolve or his faith. Give him victory in this. Hold him tightly in the palms of Your hands.I ask this in the all powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen

God's Will

Dear Lord,

I don't know the circumstances surrounding this sister's situation, but I pray in faith knowing that You know all things. The choices this dear one made nor the situation she's found herself in came as a surprise to You. You knew it all before even one day of her life came to be, and You have the power and a plan to some how work it all to her good. I ask for Your peace to reign in her heart in the midst of her storm. Enable her to put You first in her life. Hear her cry for mercy and grant it abundantly. Give her life direction. Show her the plans You have for her. Let her not give in to fear or panic, but to trust You with her entire life. I do pray that a peaceful resolution be found that is acceptable to all parties. But if for some reason that isn't part of Your plan, then I ask You to grant her an extra measure of Your grace and mercy to see her through whatever lies ahead. Help her know she is your precious child, Your treasured possession. May she rest in Your hands with confidence.

Please pray for my house to sell

Dear Sister,

I've never sold a house before, so I don't have any tips or suggestions. But I can pray....

Dear Lord,
You know this mother's needs, every one of them. Please, Lord, meet every single one of them, right now. You know who needs to live in this house, so I ask You to send that person, that buyer, at just the right time to help both of them. If there is anything different that needs to be done, then I ask You to give wisdom so it can be done. Please give peace and patience to her as she waits for Your perfect timing. And, Lord, while I'm praying for this particular woman to sell her house, there is that other mom, the one with four kids that needs a house too. Please take care of both of them in the way You know is best. Thank You in advance for all You are going to do.

Need to rededicate to the Lord and healing...I am hurting

Jesus,

Please set this sister free from the lies and bad habits Satan has used to put and keep her in bondage. Send someone to walk alongside her, someone who will encourage her, yet hold her accountable to make the changes she knows she needs to make. Give her wisdom and strength to persevere and not give up. Show her what kind of Bible study she needs to be involved to feed her soul, whether it is with a group or by herself. Put Your arms of protection around her, and bring her back to the center of Your will.

I pray in agreement with this husband and father, that his wife's heart will be softened and her eyes opened to truth. Please, restore this family and mold it into a model of Your love for Your people. I also pray for the mom going through radiation. Heal her body and totally restore her to her health. Give this man patience, love, understanding, and an extra measure of Your peace and mercy. Carry him through this time.

Adoption Crisis

Lord,

You have a special place in Your heart for children. You wanted them brought to You, and You said that we must become like little children to enter Your Kingdom. I ask You to intervene on behalf of little children everywhere who have no home. Open hearts and doors so they can be put into families. I specifically pray for this one who longs to take a child in but finds herself facing closed doors. Open those doors. Don't let that Guatemalan baby go motherless. Please bring this child and this family together soon. Calm nerves and emotions until You do. With You all things are possible. We claim that promise today.

Oh, Great Physician, please put Your healing hand on Shona. Reveal to her anything she can do to be healthier, perhaps changes in diet, excercise, or whatever. Give her doctors wisdom in how to treat her. However You choose to do it, please make her well.

Husband's New Job

Dear Lord,

Please wrap this husband with Your presence and Your strength. I'm sure it is difficult and scary to be starting a new career close to the age many people retire. Take away his fear giving him boldness and strength to provide for his family. Let his customers see his genuine care and concern. Open the doors that need to be open for him, but I also ask that You close any doors that need closing. Provide this family's needs out of Your abundant storehouse. We thank you in advance.

Prayer for my daughter

Dear Lord,

Please surround this daughter with your Truth. Open her eyes to the truth about her relationship with this man; the truth about her responsibilities to her daughter; the truth of her relationship with her mother and family; the truth of Your love and Your plans for her life. Then, give her the desire and courage to make the necessary changes in her life to be back where she needs to be.

Please give this mother wisdom. Give her wisdom to know what to say and what not to say. Replace any anger and bitterness in her heart with Your love and joy. Help her carry this burden, and give her faith to never give up praying for her daughter.

Bring this daughter home.

Dear Jesus,

I don't know what Your wonderful plans are for this man and this woman. There has been and is love here, and if this realtionship is ended hearts will get broken. And yet, if they force a relationship You don't mean for them to have, hearts and lives will still get wounded. So I ask you to please work out Your perfect will for this couple. If You have brought them together, then let nothing drive them apart. If Your plans don't involve their being together, then I ask You to enable them to let go of each other as painlessly as possible. Let both know they can trust You with their hearts and their emotions. Hold them close and guide them to the place You want them to be.

Praying for a miracle

O, God, please, please have mercy on this mom. Give her more peace and grace in this time of need than she's ever felt before. Comfort her with Your very self. Wrap Your arms of love tightly around her and her family. O, Creator of the Universe, I know and believe that You are more than able to work a miracle in this situation. You are the One who is knitting this baby together, and You have the power to make all things new, putting them in their proper place. That is what I ask for. I'm asking You to touch this baby and make him/her healthy and well so that many will know You are God and nothing is impossible with You. But Lord, I also know that Your ways are not our ways. I know that sometimes You allow things to happen that we don't always understand. I realize it could somehow be part of Your bigger plan for this baby's life and it's family's life for him/her to have Turner's syndrome. If that is the case, I ask for You to carry this family through this valley. Let them feel Your love in very real and overwhelming ways. Let them know You will never leave them and will never let go.

I ask all this in the very precious and powerful name of Jesus.

Dear Jesus,

I thank You for people willing to be there for those who have no families. Multiply their love a hundred times and take care of every need they have.

You know all the details regarding this child, these parents, and this adoption. I ask You to allow all the paper work to go smoothly and quickly, so that this child can be in the arms of his parents as soon as possible. Give wisdom and discernment to all involved. I pray that this adoption will bring honor to You, and that many will see it and have a new understanding of how You adopted us into Your heavenly family. Thank you Jesus!

Dear Lord,

You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory. You've also said to let no debt remain outstanding except the debt to love one another. I pray that You will provide the needs of this sister, allowing her to pay her debts. I ask You to give her and Lynn wisdom as they manage their businesses. Show them exactly what they need to do and not to do in order to run their businesses efficiently and in a manner pleasing to You.

I do not know what kind of bondage Patrick is in, but You do. You said You came to set the captives free. I claim that promise on Patrick's behalf. Open his eyes to the truth of his situation. Cause him to desire freedom. Put it in his heart and mind to cry out to You for help. With the same power You used to raise Jesus from the dead, raise Patrick above this captivity. Give him a firm place to stand and put a new song in his mouth.

Seeking our Father's Blessing

Dear Lord,

I pray for this one who is experiencing a financial crisis, asking You to provide all her needs according to Your riches in glory. Give her wisdom and discernment in how to use the money You provide her with, and reveal to her any changes she may need to make in her life in order to be a faithful steward of Your provision. Help her to trust You in all circumstances and not to worry or fret.

For a family with four children

Dear Jesus,

You created families, and You are the One who blesses them with children. We don't understand why this precious family has a child with some difficulties, but we know You love her and her parents and You have a plan for all of their lives. Please give this mom and dad wisdom in how to deal with these special challenges. Put in their path people who can help and offer encouragement as they travel this difficult road. Help these parents to abide in Your presence and to trust You and hold tight to Your hand even in the most challenging days. Help them see this daughter as the blessing she is and not as a burden. May Your love shine through this family as they minister to each other. May their example of faith and courage draw other families with similar challenges to You.
