My very ill cat

Dear Jesus,

In Proverbs 12:10 You said a righteous man cares for the needs of his animals. And then You said You don't forget even the small sparrows. I know that means You care about Mittens. I believe You have the power to touch Mittens and heal her. I also know that 17 is a good old age for a cat, and as hard as it may be to accept, it may be that Mittens won't be here much longer. Please take care of Mittens. Heal her if that is Your will. If not, please don't let her suffer. Please give this sister and her beloved cat some good time together to say good-bye. Ease the hurt and the pain in this owner's heart. Wrap Your arms around her and comfort her with Your Holy Spirit.
